1. Hello, I am Terry Ewell and I am very glad that you made the choice to watch this video. Our lives have many different choices in them. In particular, this is a world filled with religion, filled with gods, filled with life choices. So, why is it that you should make the choice for the Christian God and in particular for Jesus Christ?

2. Well, I would submit to you that this choice for Jesus Christ is not just one of philosophy, it is a transformation, a total change. It is not just a religion, it is more of a relationship. This is not a self-help type method that you can pursue on your own.

3. No, the power to do this is not from within yourself. It is something that cannot be purchased. It is free, it is available. There is no way to purchase it and there is no way to earn it. Truly it is a miracle: this transformation, this becoming a new person. This is the power of God to change your life. The Bible talks about this. Let me just read a couple of verses and let’s talk about them a bit.

4. In the book of John, chapter 1 verse 12 it says:

5. … as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

6. So, you see, you have a choice to receive Him, a choice to receive Jesus. With this choice He then gives you the right to become a child of God. You are adopted into a new family. It is one of relationships with God and of relationships with other believers. The key to that is believing in Him and receiving this new birth.

7. Jesus says again, this is in the Gospel of John chapter 3, verse 3:

9. So, this relationship to God, to His rule, His authority is through this new birth, through this transformation, through this choice in your life. With that transformation comes new privileges, new rights, and new relationships.

10. I think of the way that God has transformed my life. My story is on the website. You can see the link right here. You can certainly read about this. As a young 14-year-old at a music camp, I was given this message: the story about God. I made the choice to become a Christian.

11. Immediately my mind was transformed, my musical abilities were increased, and my outlook on life totally changed. This was a radical change in my life. I count this as one of my most treasured experiences in life.

12. This is not an experience that is limited to only 14-year-olds. My daughter at the age of three on my knee decided to invite Jesus into her life. You can be 84 years old and decide to do that. As long as you have breath, you have the opportunity for choice and you have this chance to experience transformation in your life. There is not a special formula, there is not a special incantation, it is something in which you invite Jesus into your life.

14. Lord, I am so grateful that these visitors are with me now, that they are hearing my voice and more than that that they are feeling the tug of your Spirit in their hearts and in their lives. You have given them the invitation and they have come to view this website. Now I ask you to give them the invitation and let them accept Jesus into their hearts, transforming their lives, changing their lives, Lord. Let them now become adopted as children of God. Amen.
