Here are several ways to post your final project. Any of three solutions below will work fine for this course. All of these solutions can be done for free.

DO NOT send the video as an attachment to an email message. The file is too large.

You are encouraged to make your video available to your group, but this is not required for the course.

1) Sharing Actual Video

Via DropBox in your Personal Folder

You already know how to do this. The video must be in either .mp4, .mov, or .wmv format. These formats cannot be read by me: .wlmp (windows live media project) or an iMovie project file. You must export the files to .mp4, .mov, or .wmv format.

Via the Internet

Send your video via HighTail <https://www.hightail.com/#> (formely known as yousendit.com). This is a web utility. The free version allows for transportation of files up to 250 MB. Files remain available for one week on their servers. Both the sender and recipients are notified of the availability of documents by email.

2) Screen Capture, then Streaming

Use JING for the screen capture. Play the sound and video on your computer and use JING to record it. Then upload to the JING (screencast) web site. Copy the link and place it in your report.

3) Load to Streaming Website

YouTube

Use YouTube or another online video repository. Indicate the URL (web address) in your report. YouTube < www.youtube.com > is the leading distributor of online videos. You will need to set up an account and follow the directions on the website.

Vimeo

This is another popular way to share videos. Like YouTube the video is posted and then streamed to viewers. https://vimeo.com/
