Rendering an MP3 file in Reaper

If you want to create mp3 files in Reaper here are links to information. You will need to download and install LAME.

Some of you might need to do this to load your video sound track into your software.

How do I render to MP3?

You must download an MP3 codec and place it in the main REAPER directory.

• Download the LAME encoder here. Download the x64 DLL version if you are using REAPER 64 bits.
• Unzip the downloaded file and extract lame_enc.dll into the main REAPER directory (usually "C:\Program Files\Reaper").
